We proudly launched the 2025-2026 Orientation Week on Saturday, September 27th, 2025. The program was designed to warmly welcome our new students, guide them into academic life, and connect them with faculty, administration, and peers.

Day 1: Opening & Welcoming Ceremony

The week opened with inspiring welcoming remarks from student representatives, alumni, faculty deans, directors, and senior executives.

Among the distinguished guests were:

Acting President –  VP Academic Affairs, VP Admin & Finance, VP Research & Development, Director of Student Affairs, University Language Center Director, Student Union Chairman, Director of Admissions, Director of Academics, Deans of All Faculties, Parents and other honored guests.

This memorable ceremony reflected our spirit of community and academic excellence, officially opening the doors to a new journey of knowledge.

Day 2: Study Skills for Success

On Sunday, we hosted an enlightening seminar on effective study techniques, delivered by our Founding President alongside Dr. Mohamud Ahmed Jimale, Director of the Graduate Center. The sessions equipped students with strategies to study effectively and build strong academic habits for long-term success.

Day 3: Academic & Financial Policy Orientation

On Monday, the focus shifted to institutional policies. Eng. Abdirizak Warsame – VP Academic Affairs introduced students to the Academic and Examination Policy, while Eng. Abdalla Sheikh – VP Admin & Finance, provided an overview of the Finance Policy. These sessions ensured that students clearly understood academic expectations, financial responsibilities, and our institutional standards.

Day 4 & 5: Faculty-Level Orientations

On Tuesday and Wednesday, students met with their faculty deans, heads of departments, academic secretaries, and other staff members. This gave them the opportunity to:

  • Understand faculty-specific academic expectations

  • Explore departmental resources

  • Meet mentors and advisors

  • Build connections with classmates

Each faculty hosted its program at its respective campus, helping students become familiar with their academic environment.

Orientation Week concluded with a spirit of unity, confidence, and inspiration.

We are proud of our new students for stepping into this exciting chapter, and we remain committed to supporting them in their academic and personal growth throughout their journey.

Welcome to the Academic Year 2025/2026 – Together Towards Excellence.
